Overview:
1) To support the development of the olive sector in the areas of Bent Jbeil through the increasing of the farmers’ incomes, the reinforcement of the production tools and the improvement of the cooperative managing.
Activities:
- rehabilitation of the cooperatives of Debel, Richaf, Borj-Qalaway and Kounine and preparation of the room hosting the olive mill;
- purchase and installation of olive mills, pneumatic machines for harvesting and pruning, of generators, plastic boxes, pesticides, net for olive harvesting;
- realization of training sessions and technical assistance.
Results:
- training sessions and technical assistance carried out;
- technical assistance to farmers.
