Overview:
1) the project aims at improving income generation in the rural areas through vocational training and technical assistance. The idea is of strengthening entrepreneurial potentials and increasing market chances of the farmers.
Activities:
- training courses in agriculture, breeding, horticulture, product processing, bread and cake production for 240 young and adult farmers;
- start up of at least 20 agricultural productive activities.
Results:
- 21 business plans for the start up of entrepreneurial initiatives selected; 9 projects have been submitted by women and 10 by young people. The financial support has been around 6,830$ with a monthly gross profit of around 1,850$.
