Extension of the Emergency Project for the Rehabilitation of the Olive Oil Sector in the Area of Southern Lebanon more Affected by theWar – PHASE II

Overview:

1) The project’s aim is the recovery of the olive oil sector in Southern Lebanon through several  rehabilitation actions in favour of the cooperatives of Nabatiyeh and Marjayoun.

Activities:

– rehabilitation of the cooperatives of Marjayoun and Nabatiyeh and preparation of the room hosting the olive mill;

– purchase and installation of 2 olive mills and 2 generators;

– realization of training sessions and technical assistance.

Results:

– service centres of the 2 cooperatives rehabilitated and equipped;

– training sessions and technical assistance completed.
