The Specific Objective of the project is to strengthen the business skills and knowledge around cooperatives of farmers in Qabb Elias Neighbourhood.
The Expected Result is: Farmers and members of cooperatives in Qabb Elias Area are empowered through the development of new skills for business development and Cooperatives advantages
The project carried out training sessions for more than 500 local farmers and members of agricultural cooperatives in Qabb Elias and the surrounding villages.
These training sessions covered two components: a) Training in cooperative work and b) Business development training.
Each training session included a maximum of 32 people. Each training group was trained for a minimum of 5 days (2 days covering cooperative work and 3 days covering business development).
