Borj Cedria, 8th December 2021
On Wednesday December 8th, 2021, from 10 am to 12.30 pm, at the amphitheater of the ISSTE of Borj Cedria, the Higher Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technologies, a workshop was held to present the EVE project, “Efficiency and Valorization of irrigation water through pilot actions in Sicily and Tunisia”. The project is part of the ENI Cross-border Cooperation Programme Italy – Tunisia 2014-2020, it is funded by the European Union and it is implemented by ICU in two cities: Alcamo in Sicily, Italy, and Nabeul in Tunisia. The project partners are the Société de Gestion de la Technopole de Borj Cedria (SGTBC) and the municipality of Alcamo (VDA); the associated partners are the Commissariat Régional au Développement Agricole de Nabeul (CRDA), the Regional Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Mediterranean Fisheries of the Sicily Region (ASSAGRI) and the IRRITEC S.P.A. company.
The workshop was organized by ICU and SGTBC, with the aim to promote the project and to present it to the students of the Institute.
