Lima, September 10 2019. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Universidad de Piura (UDEP) in Peru, the Faculty of Engineering wanted to celebrate the decades of collaboration with ICU and the humanitarian experiences with its volunteers.
The ceremony was attended by Italian professors Lorenzo Jurina, Marina Massi, Luigi del Re and Mario Manzo, ICU volunteers who have been collaborating for the growth of the University since the early years. The volunteers took the opportunity to recall the role played by ICU and its General Secretary at the time, Umberto Farri, to promote development, especially of the Faculty of Engineering and its Mechanical-Electrical Engineering program.
The University mentioned the recognition and appreciation of the cooperation solidified between the ICU and UDEP through the memories shared by the Italian volunteers during the celebration, entitled “Cooperación ICU y UDEP: experiencias de los exvoluntarios” (in the link below ).
