LITANI, the River of coexistence (2009).

Layout 1Each intervention of development cooperation is not possible without a careful analysis of the needs of the beneficiary communities, which not only responds to ethical requirements, but also of management efficiency and results of the project. Such considerations are of particular value in a social and cultural complex as the Lebanese’s one and in an area as difficult as that of water.

This publication is part of the project of development education: “To communicate development: Litani, the river of coexistence” realized by ICU, in collaboration with AVSI, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Directorate General for Development Cooperation).

The project aims to contribute to the dissemination, from Italian public opinion, a greater awareness of the problems that developing countries face and the importance of international cooperation for development, solidarity and peace.
