On 4 March 2022, ICU is launching the International Open Tender for the supply, installation, commissioning, training/technical assistance of 26 photovoltaic systems in 30 schools in the provinces of Kirundo and Ruyigi in Burundi, under the EU-funded UMUCO W’ITERAMBERE programme.
The market is «turnkey» and consists of: – the complete supply of equipment and components for the installation of 26 photovoltaic systems in 30 Schools; – The complete installation of 26 photovoltaic systems in 30 schools; – The startup of 26 photovoltaic systems in 30 schools; – The Initial support and training for management committees in the 30 Schools on the correct use, maintenance and routine maintenance of installed photovoltaic systems. – The operation and maintenance service to ensure the maintenance of solar systems, in each school, with regular field visits, for 12 months after installation.
