Overview:
the operation aims at addressing the situation of high vulnerability in which the population in the areas of the intervention are living due to the physical and economical damages causing the rupture in the production cycle; the project’s aim is to provide an immediate support to the fish farmers to restart the local fundamental income generating activities; thus creating conditions for local populations to maintain minimal living conditions.
Activities:
– rehabilitation work necessary to allow proper production recovery;
– provision of fries and fish food with technical follow-up;
– capacity building of producers.
Results:
– the fish farms affected by the conflict rehabilitated;
– 90 fish farms restarted their production cycle;
– capacity building actions to the producers associations realised.
