Overview:
1) Establishment of a hospital and diagnostic facility at Enugu to: provide quality and affordable healthcare services to the population of Enugu and surrounding areas; act as a primary diagnostic facility for the medical personnel and
hospital centres in the whole region; be the reference structure for healthcare campaigns in the region; become a pilot centre for the existing institutions already operational in Enugu
Results:
• The building has been completed;
• Health services and temporary premises have been improved;
• 2 information manuals on hygiene, health problems and advices during pregnancy have been prepared and distributed;
• A vaccination campaign has been started;
• 2 new doctors for the surgery and pathology departments have been employed..
