With this project ICU contributed to the improvement of the services offered by the health system in Mauritania. Specifically, it improved the quality of training of the National School of Public Health for nurses in Nouakchott and the operational performance of the two national medical centres of cardiology and oncology of which about 800 figures of the Mauritanian health system benefitted.
