The European Union Delegation visits the photovoltaic plants built by ICU in the Municipality of Nabeul, Tunisia

Nabeul, 14th of march 2018. The European Union Delegation in Tunisia, local authorities, journalists and students from the Technical Institute of Nabeul visited photovoltaic installations in the municipality of Nabeul within the ICU project: Commune de Nabeul: solutions renouvelables pour les services public de base.

On the occasion of this technical visit, ICU shared the results of the SUDEP project SUDEP which will allow 267 farmers to count on a supply of treated wastewater for constant irrigation and public lighting in the city. In fact, a photovoltaic plant (121kWp) will supply 25% of the energy needed to the Nabeul water treatment plant and a second plant (113 kWp) will provide 50% of the energy needed for the city hall building and 220 light spots of the city.
