Tunis, September 7th, 2020. In the framework of the project “ProAgro: Support to the development of sustainable agri-food micro-enterprises and creation of employment opportunities in disadvantaged areas of Tunisia” financed by the Italian Agency for Cooperation – AICS, ICU has launched a call to collect expressions of interest from Tunisian agricultural micro-enterprises and agri-food business initiatives in the milk, horticultural crops, dates, aromatic and medicinal plants and olive trees sectors.
Through the call, 400 micro-enterprises in the Tunisian agri-food sector will have access to technical trainings, assistance in the development of their business plans and support to credit.
The ProAgro project aims to support the development of sustainable agri-food micro-enterprises and job creation in disadvantaged areas of Tunisia in order to improve living conditions in rural areas.
